School Houses

Our school houses are proudly named using words from the local Aboriginal language of the Yagara people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our school stands. Each name reflects a meaningful connection to the natural environment:

  • Kaggur – Red – meaning echidna
  • Warril – Blue – meaning creek or river
  • Dhagun – Green – meaning ground or earth

These names honour the rich cultural heritage and deep connection to Country held by the local Aboriginal community, and help us recognise and celebrate the history and traditions of the land we share.
